Our members

Purkki was formed by a group of 25 motivated students, who took the time out of their busy schedules to join a team that can possibly make a huge impact that one individual can not do by themself. Almost two months later, each member of our company has shown time and time again the extent of potential this group has; they have exemplified teamwork, shown discipline, laughed together, cried together, and created a successful business together.

Executive team

Purkki’s executive team is dedicated to leading Purkki in hopes of being an effective and interactive team. Each Purkki executive is unique in their implementation of leadership, which allows Purkki to be a dynamic and lively group. While each member of the team is a leader themselves, this is the VP team that was chosen to spearhead the project.

President

Eric Mei

As an individual, Eric Mei likes to ramble when it comes to details, but every so often a real jewel of an idea emerges. It’s as if all the unnecessary conversation was there to pressure and harden the diamond of an idea to come out. That is why Eric makes such an effective leader. His charisma and humor attract the company’s attention, and everyone is waiting for that one diamond to pop out. Eric’s confidence in speaking and eagerness to succeed, paired with his inability to wear a tie straight, makes him a lovable and trustworthy leader capable of leading the team in the right direction, unlike his tie.

VP of Marketing

Eric Fu

He enjoys the simple things in life such as sleeping, eating, and marketing to every moving body in his current vicinity. Eric understands how to appeal to his customers and enjoys being a leader in his group, and these characteristics allow him to drive Purkki into the current market, attracting both new customers and old friends. Eric Fu’s experience arguing and bartering with some hard-headed peers has allowed him to become a strong salesperson, who has a lovable and quite frankly cuddly persona.

VP of Finance

Hanan Anam

Oftentimes the VP of finance, or treasurer, is associated with a quiet and likeable person. This is just the case for Hanan Anam. Not only is she hard working and exact in her financial calculations, she is a citizen of high moral standards and reliability. As she promised in her elevator pitch, “I will not steal from you guys!” And up to the current date, that has been an accurate statement. Looks like we picked a keeper.

VP of Human Resources

Aliza Sabih

Aliza is a naturally sociable person, but it is often the case that she is not necessarily always lenient. Rather than putting up with off task group members, Aliza prefers to keep the group in check and motivated. This allows Purkki to be the effective and productive team that it is. Aliza can be extremely strict at times when somebody isn’t working, but we all know that it’s for the best.

VP of Production

Esther Pond

Esther is the metaphoric mother of the group, she has taken responsibility of all production processes in the company, and often goes out of her way to make the process easier and smoother for those of us who are unclear in our roles. Esther is one of those few people that genuinely cares for the employees, and works her hardest to demonstrate that in any way that she can during every meeting. Esther is the backbone of Purkki, and the biggest reason for our success.

VP of Information Technology

Jungbin Yang

Jungbin Yang, commonly called “Bin”, is the most experienced member of Purkki’s executive team. Bin provides much needed expertise and wisdom to the group in addition to completing his own tasks in a timely fashion. His leadership skills and ability to talk to anyone in the group allow him to be a gregarious and effective member of the Purkki executive team.
